Rousse du Mont Blanc PerfectDraft barrel 6 liters

The Rousse du Mont Blanc is a top-fermented, amber-colored beer with an alcohol content of 6.5%. Brewed by the Brasserie du Mont Blanc in the French Alps, their brewmasters have strived to develop recipes using the highest quality ingredients.

The Rousse du Mont Blanc is brewed with exceptionally pure water, coming from a spring at an altitude of over 2074 metres on the Mont Blanc massif, far from any human activity. This low-mineralised glacial water from Mont Blanc gives an incomparable quality to the skill of the Brasserie du Mont Blanc's master brewers. The beer is then made from a blend of three original malts with precise roasting and various types of hops, including Strisselpalt from Alsace with floral and very aromatic notes. All this is refined by a selection of the finest spices. The choice of top-fermentation (at around 25°C) highlights the aromatic diversity of this exceptional beer.

The Rousse du Mont Blanc presents itself in an amber-colored dress with bright red reflections. This amber ale offers a taste experience rich in contrasts, starting with a full mouthfeel and well-balanced malty aromas. This first impression in the mouth is accompanied by delicious notes of caramel and roasted almonds and ends with a smooth, fruity finish.

TASTING TIPS

The Rousse du Mont Blanc should preferably be enjoyed in its corresponding branded glass. Alternatively, it can be served in a tulip glass to best concentrate and preserve its caramel and almond aromas. This is a beer that is best enjoyed at a temperature of 5°C.

Amber Ale beers go particularly well with red or grilled meat, as the malt and caramel notes complement the taste. The Rousse also goes well with sausages or smoked fish. For desserts, we recommend combining it with caramelized apples or pears, such as a Tarte Tatin, or a Crème Brûlée for a harmonious taste experience.
