The Kwak keg delivers the famous Belgian Strong Ale from Brouwerij Bosteels, known for its distinctive character and deep brewing tradition

Appearance: Pours a beautiful, deep, clear amber/copper-brown colour, topped with a dense, creamy, off-white head

Aroma: Complex and inviting, with dominant notes of sweet caramel, candy sugar, and bread. Subtle hints of spicy Belgian yeast (like coriander or pepper), and a mellow fruity character (apricot, banana, or orange marmalade) are also present

Taste: The initial flavour is a lovely malt sweetness with rich caramel and toffee notes. This is quickly balanced by a gentle, underlying spiciness and a hint of warming brandy/alcohol, given its strength. It finishes with a delicate, balanced bitterness that keeps the sweetness from being cloying.
